10 Deep for Altamont

The next collaborator of Altamont for Holiday 2009 is 10.Deep founder and creative director Scott Sasso. The outcome is a small capsule collection, consisting of a hoodie, shirt, t-shirts, cap and a scarf. The collection fuses the Altamont style with details that we learned to appreciate in the 10.Deep collection.
Taking cues from the namesake Altamont tragedy of 1969, Scott invokes the event and the era through motifs like a raceway checkerboard pattern, a bloody arm, psychedelic imagery and a reference to the infamous event security, or lack thereof. All these elements are incorporated with Scott's signature 10.Deep attention to detailing and unique patterns to create a completely modern brand mash-up.

etnies Special-Edition Clothing and Shoes Will Benefit B4BC to Spread Breast Cancer Awareness:

Hate is a strong word, but etnies means it when it comes to the fight against breast cancer. Together etnies and Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC), a non-profit, youth-based breast cancer awareness organization, have teamed up for the fourth year to release a special-edition girl's collection during October, National Breast Cancer Awareness month. In stores now, for each item sold, a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to fund breast cancer awareness and educational programs.

“As a brand that encourages a healthy and active lifestyle for all girls, it is essential for us to take part in organizations that advocate the importance of breast cancer awareness, education, prevention and fun all at the same time,” said Jeff Taylor, etnies brand marketing manager.

We are really really proud to present We Are Wolves's brand new album "Invisible Violence." After a well-deserved break and a summer spent in studio, the trio is excited to release its third album, which will be available in stores and online on October 6th on Dare To Care Records. A sneak peak of this long-awaited album is now available with the first single "Paloma" (via their MySpace HERE). We Are Wolves will also be back on stage for "Invisible Violence" CD launch on October 15th (extra date added October 16th) at National, in Montreal, which will kickoff the band's 2009 tour.
