WELCOME TO THE NEW RESERVE LA Reserve opened in 2006. It serves as a flagship store for all the labels produced by the Freshjive Manufacturing Company. It also specializes in unique vintage books and magazines related to graphic design, photography, and all things pop culture. Exhibitions are held at various times throughout the year.

RESERVE WINDOW DESIGN BY JOHN DOWNER We hired our good friend John Downer, who is a professional sign painter & typographer, to fly to LA to do gold leaf lettering on our store window & transom. Glass gilding is becoming a lost art that only a few dozen people in the United States still know how perform. Stay tuned for a video interview with John, where he explains this beautiful process in detail.

VINTAGE BOOKS STOCKED WEEKLY Known for our great selection of rare vintage books and magazines, we decided to show them on the blog in a more in-depth fashion than we have before. Throughout each week we will post new book arrivals at the shop, with photos of each cover as well as spreads inside the book, displaying the true beauty and uniqueness of the rare books and magazines that are sought after by collectors across the world.
